Here is what the Brewer Says:
This Award-Winning, copper colored pale ale was the first beer we ever brewed, and it's still one of our favorites. We carefully blend German and English malts, and add generous portions of American hops for a refreshing citrus aroma and a long, dry finish.
My Thoughts: This beer poured a somewhat clear golden, amber color with very little head. The smell was of light malt and slightly floral hops. This is not an aggressive smelling beer. The first taste to hit you is a very light malt base. The bitterness comes in mid-drink and in the aftertaste, but not in an aggressive fashion. The finish is dry and only slightly bitter. The flavor of this pale is is very, very mild. The body is light and the carbonation is average. This beer is kind of watery, there isn't much to it, thus the drinkablity is somewhat high because I don't know when you would ever "feel" this beer. That being said I was bored after one pint. I think this beer would be a good substitute to get a bud light drinker over to the craftbeer world.
