Left Hand Milk Stout

Here is what the Brewer says:
Dark and delicious, America's great milk stout will change your perception about what a stout can be. Malt Used-Pale 2-row, Crystal, Munich, Roast Barley, Flaked Oats, Flaked Barley and Chocolate Hops Used-Magnum and US Goldings
25IBU 6% ABV

My Thoughts: This beer poured a very dark black with a creamy rich foamy head that left significant lacing throughout the drink.  The smell was of a hint of sweet chocolate coffee and roasted barley and malt.  The smell was very inviting.  The taste and mouthfeel go hand in hand with this beer. The creamy smooth thicker body plays very nicely with the sweet sugar, chocolate, coffee and roasted flavors in this beer.  This beer is a very earthy tasting brew because of how much roasted and toasted flavors you get.  There is a little tiny bit of hops at the end, but more or less this is a sweeter stout with little hop bite.  This beer is not overly thick and the carbonation is lower.  Drinkabitlity is good for this brew.  Because it isn't so thick, and it isn't too sweet,  you could have a few of these back to back no problem.  I'd order this again if I saw it on draft!
Serving Type: 16oz Draft

My Rating: Overall 86.5/100
look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | drink: 4.25
