9.2%ABV 70IBU

My Thoughts: This beer poured a dark brown with just a hint of red that you can see faintly in the picture.  The smell was sweet and full of piney hops.  The taste was every bit as good as the smell, if not even better.  The dark heavier bodied beer drank lighter that what I thought it would.  Carbonation was mild and it perfectly suited the hoppy nature this beer has.  I got a lot of pine and citrus hops that went perfectly with its sweeter, but not too sweet side.   The malt flavor profile was more of the roasted and oak flavors.   I was not expecting to love it as much as I did, but this beer really blew me away with its complex flavors and amazing drinkability.  If you are a hophead the 70ibu is very accurate and will leave you with a smile on your face!  If you find a bottle of this do not hesitate to pick couple of them up....they will age well over time!
