Half Acre Dasiy Cutter Pale Ale

Here is what the Brewer says:
A west coast Pale Ale chock-full of dank, aromatic hops. This one's a screamer, horde it.
Brewed year round / 5.2% ABV
I have to send a big THANK YOU out to Bill and Renee for picking this up for me on their recent trip to Chicago!  I love being able to try new beers, especially ones you cannot get here in Ohio.  Craftbeer Friends Rock!

My Thoughts:
This beer poured hazy golden orange with a very thick, frothy white head.  The smell was very floral upfront (it is called Daisy Cutter) but further smelling revealed some pine and grapefruit creeping through with only a bit of bready malt.  I was a big fan of the smell of this brew because of the crisp, up-front hop profile.   The flavor followed the nose but in a slightly different order and just not as aggressive.  At first the pine hops come out and they are followed to the end by the floral and grapefruit/pineapple flavors.   These three main hop flavors really are well balanced with the bready malt and the beer goes down very smooth.  Mouthfeel is somewhat light, while carbonation was above average.  Drinkablity of this brew is excellent.  This is a great tasting American Pale Ale and at only 5.2% I'd say this is one of the best session pale ales I've had to pleasure of drinking.
