Fat Heads Head Hunter IPA

Here is what the Brewer Says:
Uncivilized and aggressive this west coast styled IPA packs wicked hop flavors and aroma. Savage amounts of Simcoe, Columbus and Cascade hops define this brews signature pine and citrus notes.
7.0% abv 87ibu

My Thoughts: Head Hunter is one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had and that is saying a lot because I have tried a lot of different IPAs.  It pours pretty clear with a yellow/orange tint to it.  There was a thin layer of head that lingered almost down to last drop.  The smell was of fresh citrus and pine.  The taste was pure heaven.  At 87 ibu you are in for a plethora of bitterness at beginning and end.  There is a brief moment of sweetness in the middle, but this beer is all about good, fresh hops.  This beer actually gets better if you let it warm up a bit too! The body is medium as is the carbonation. The citrus and pine flavors really shine through to make this bitter beer so easy to drink it is scary!  The drinkabilty for me is perfect!!  I can't wait until they sell this in bottles!

Serving Type: Draft

My Rating: Overall 100/100!
